Cuspidata
Japanese Yew
The species of
Taxus cuspidata,
Japanese Yew, will grow
to about 20 meters tall in its native area of Korea, N.E. China, S.E.
USSR, and Japan at an elevation of 500 to 2400 meters. It was introduced into
Britain in 1854 by R. Fortune. Because it is much hardier than T.
baccata this species is more popular.
'
BRIGHT GOLD' This variety is similar in habit to T.
baccata
'
AUREA' but has a much brighter gold color. Always very popular!

Please prune the dwarf Blue Spruce to return to the top.
