Lanceolata
China Fir

This species grows large (80 feet high) and is broad at the base. It is found in southern, central and western China and is used extensively in the timber industry. C. lanceolata was introduced into Great Britan in 1804 by William Kerr and again by Fortune in 1844. We grow a cultivar that is very blue and is much hardier than the species.
